  • Do I need to book in advance?
Yes please! Pre-booking is highly recommended as I am limited to the amount of fresh bouquets I can take over at any one time. During peak wedding season, slots get booked up quickly so it is advisable to secure your date by booking in advance. Sometimes I can accept last-minute requests so do get in touch if you haven’t booked in on time and I’ll let you know if I can squeeze you in!
  • How do I book in?
You’ll need to check that I have availability for your date first, which you can do by filling out the contact form. If I have availability, you just need to pay a deposit to secure your place and that’s it!
  • How soon after my wedding should I send my bouquet?
Once you book in, I’ll send some detailed guidance. To post, you will need a suitably sized box to accommodate your flowers without squashing them, and some newspaper/packing material. Flowers travel remarkably well once the guidance is followed so don’t worry about sending via post/courier.

  • How long does it take?
Once I receive your flowers, they will be fully conditioned and then carefully deconstructed and pressed in traditional flower presses for several weeks to fully dry them. This process takes about 14-16 weeks to get to the design stage. I will be in touch via email at this stage to check your design preferences (style/size/frame colour). You don’t need to decide anything until this stage!
  • Which flowers are best for pressing?
I can usually work with most flowers, and if you know what types/colours of flowers you will have, its useful to let me know in advance. In general, mixed bouquets with different flower types and textures provide plenty of interest and variety for pressing into a bespoke frame for you.
  • Will my flowers change colour?
This depends on the flower, but usually yes- there will be some colour change. Some colours deepen/intensify on pressing (eg some reds/purples), whereas other will go lighter (eg some pale pinks). White flowers tend to go various shades of ivory, cream or pale yellow, and some will stay almost white! There are lots of flowers/foliages that hardly change colour at all too- its all part of the preservation process and means your flowers get a new lease of life!
  • Do I get to see how my flowers will look?
Yes of course! I will send mock up photos of your preferred design for you to approve before anything is fixed in place. Your feedback is welcome at any stage of the process. Don’t worry if you’re not sure about which design you’d like- I can offer some suggestions once your flowers are pressed and we can work from there!
  • Can I order extra frames?
Yes, providing there are enough flowers, you can add on extra frames if you like. Mini frames are great gifts for family!
  • What frame options are available?
There are 3 main frame sizes to choose from: A2, A3 or A4. These can be arranged in either landscape or portrait orientation. Additional mini-frames (A5) are also available as add-ons to a main order. I usually use an off-white background as standard, however you can choose to have a black background if preferred. You can then choose a frame colour (black, white or natural oak wood as standard choices).
  • How much will it cost
Pricing options can be found here [insert link].
  • How do I receive my frames?
Frames are dispatched via an express courier service at no extra charge to a UK address (weekday deliveries only; Saturday delivery is extra).
