TERMS OF SERVICE

PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

A deposit is required to secure your booking, which is non-refundable. Pod & Petal provides a bespoke design service and no refund is possible once frames have been completed.
Final payment is required in full prior to dispatch of your frame(s), and we ask for prompt payment on all invoices.

POSTING YOUR FLOWERS

Pod & Petal recommends that your flowers are sent via next day delivery using either Royal Mail Special delivery or an alternative next day courier. We must receive your flowers within 5 days of your wedding/event to ensure best results, the sooner we receive them the better.


Sometimes older flowers may still be suitable for pressing, however we will use our discretion to judge the condition and workability of your flowers if arriving late. If flowers arrive in a less than ideal condition and we will use our discretion to press the best flowers available.

 

If your flowers arrive in an unworkable condition, we will contact you to discuss further options, which may include ordering of replacement stems at the customer’s expense. The customer is responsible for all postage/courier costs associated with sending your flowers to Pod & Petal for pressing.

CORRESPONDANCE

We will correspond via email in the first instance. We may attempt to call or text if emails are not replied to. We would appreciate timely responses to emails to ensure we can continue your order in an appropriate timescale.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

We will consult with you on final design choices such as frame size, design style, frame colour and any additional frames requirements. We will design a mock up based on these choices which will be sent to you for approval. The mock up may vary slightly from the approved design due to positioning and fixing of individual components but we will
endeavour to keep as close to the approved design as the process allows.

DELIVERY

Delivery is included in the pricing structure to ONE nominated address in the UK only (not including Northern Ireland). If extra frames are required to be sent to more than one address, extra delivery charges will be applicable.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct addresses are provided for delivery, and to notify us if addresses have changed from the address provided when booking. Delivery will usually be via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcelforce 24hour service.

AFTERCARE & FRAME CARE

Flowers are a natural product as will change colour over time. The extent to which flowers will change colour depends on several factors including flower type, original colour, age when pressed and water content. Colour change can occur during pressing, and also after pressing when framed. We do not colour correct or spray any pressed flowers.

 

It is the customers responsibility to ensure the frames are hung/stored in an airy location, away from direct or strong light and out of any moist or damp environments.

 

Frames are supplied with D-hooks and screws which can be used to attach to your frame to hang in your desired orientation and position.
